- Class 1. 위험물의 포장
안전한 위험물 운송을 위해서는 포장이 핵심적 요소이다. 모든 화주들은 자신의 물품이 목적지까지 튼튼한 상태로 도착하기를 원한다. 위험물의 포장은 규정집(DGR및 IMDG Code)을 통해 정확한 포장 방법을 알 수 있다. 한 포장에 들어갈 수 있는 물품의 양을 제한하기도 하고, 튼튼한 외부 용기 속에 내포장을 하도록 요구할 수도 있으며, 흡수제 등의 사용을 지시하기도 한다.
